Glenn ‘G’ Border
Lighting Designer
When he was 17 Glenn went on the road with his first band. He claims he is 107 now, so that makes him either really bad at maths, severely affected by Alzheimer’s, or a bloody liar. What is true, however, is that at 17 Glenn went on the road to learn the lighting trade. Some years later he has finally figured out what colour ‘blue’ is. From these humble beginnings in a ratty, buggered old Morris truck, along with seven other smelly individuals and $5.00 per week wages (for stamps to send letters home asking for money) he somehow managed to get where he is today. He still has no clue exactly where that is, but if he turns up for the show you will probably find him behind the lighting desk randomly pushing buttons in no particular order. The Pink Floyd Experience have managed to keep him with us and out of prison for over 20 years, despite his yearning to retire and start a miniature donkey breeding farm in Spain.

Aaron Hobman
Co Director of NJL. New supplier of lighting and rigging for the PFE. Position on tour: Video Systems Tech / Rigger
After 30 years of sweeping some of the most illustrious floors in the business, Aaron has built NJL up into a force to be reckoned with. His client list is impressive including government contracts and clients such as UB40 and Homegrown. Production manager worldwide for Palace Dance company, NJL are now very excited to be prepping for their first PFE tour after purchasing Luminaire Systems from ‘that crusty old bastard G’.
Daniel van Ness
Co Director of NJL
Position on tour: LX Systems Tech
Daniel has been with Aaron at NJL for many years and is now part of the furniture. And not just that old couch with the dodgy leg! Dan’s job on the tour is to plug shit in and make it go! And he has the skills for this – you should just see him with a vacuum cleaner and a toaster!
Dan always has a smile on his face, even when hurtling down a ramp clutching an out of control truss dolly! He is a very welcome part of the tour now so that G doesn’t have to be on his knees all day!

Dorus Hommels
Turned Sound Guy
Dorus is predominantly a sound guy in his other world. He came over to the dark side just for us! We picked him up soon after the Covid Lockdowns finished, when everyone was doing anything to get back on their feet.
A crew member bailed on us at the first show and Dorus was there being a legend as always so we nabbed him and took him with us. He has been on every tour so far and fits like a glove with the rest of the team. Dorus can run a crew like nobody else I’ve seen, helping to run the local crews and getting the job done along with our other legends Don and Coen.
Coen Rutledge
Trainee Blendmeister
Coen’s main function on the tour is to blend Margaritas. He has been in training now for about a year, learning the dark art from G. He has progressed well and can produce a perfect Margy in an instant while telling you his life story!
History: Volunteering for community theatre was how Coen started in lighting and staging, Then G found him and moulded him into the beast that he is today!
Coen does help with lighting as well and can solve problems in the blink of an eye! His forward thinking and practical approach make him indispensable and very likeable! If you’re lucky enough to get the chance do try one of his Margys!

Rochelle Peters
Social Media Machine & Australian Marketing
Rochelle Peters is a huge part of our organisation and single handedly manages most of our social media machine and Australian marketing.
She tirelessly tries to answer every single question and comment while at the same time she is building this amazing community of PFE friends who are now meeting up before shows and attending sound checks etc.
Rochelle unfortunately didn’t stand a chance from day one. With her father, Daz, a founding member of PFE she was destined for some sort of unorthodox lifestyle, a penchant for Sultana Pasties and a job handling PFE’s social media.
A passionate Floyd devotee & a caring soul, the Pink Floyd Experience has been a part of her life for 22 years which makes her perfect for the job. She also doubles as our bouncer and security guard online and at shows. So don’t be late!
Reef Reid
Photo and Media Guy
Reef joined us at a couple of shows on our 2017 ‘Animals’ tour and has worked with us ever since. Reef creates images from every aspect of the tour. He also deals with the media for us.
An experienced event photographer, Reef specialises in ‘Live Music’. If you look closely, he can be seen creeping around popular venue stages and festivals, shooting local and international artists alike. When he isn’t photographing musicians, Reef also shoots sport, dance and everything else in between.

Don McCallum
‘The Don’
We don’t call him ‘The Don’ for nothing. Don has been a vital part of the Pink Floyd Experience family for many years. He has a never-ending list of skills to draw from but, most importantly, he gets the gear to the gigs safely and on time, and he makes sure nothing falls out of the roof.
We celebrate ‘Don’ day every year in appreciation for one show when the rest of the crew were fogged in at an airport and he basically put the whole lighting rig up on his own! When you look up the word ‘LEGEND’ in the dictionary you will find a smiling picture of Don, saving the day wherever he might be!
